Sometimes, despite our best efforts, a full or partial denture is the only option. A well fitting denture can serve comfortably for many years. Although full upper dentures often function well, full lower dentures tend to move about on the remaining lower jaw. Most often, people use denture adhesive to help stabilize them. Modern advancements, however, offer the option of placing an implant,over which the denture can be ‘snapped’ to place. This greatly improves the function of the teeth, and holds them in place.
